ACCA and AAA (UAE)
Along with several other recognitions, UAE, as a country, aspires to be a leading financial services center worldwide. To help realize this vision, there is a government-led initiative to establish the region’s national accounting profession.
ACCA has entered into a long-term strategic partnership, to help achieve this goal, with the finest and most prestigious local accounting organization within UAE to improve the finance sector. It is done in the following ways:
- Exchanging information on critical challenges affecting the accounting and finance professions within UAE, the wider terrain, and internationally.
- Implementation of national qualification – the UAECA (United Arab Emirates Chartered Accountant).
- Working together on research and strategy, including publishing jointly branded surveys and reports on related national and international accountancy and finance topics.
What This Means For ACCA Members In The UAE
With dual membership in the ACCA certification courses and AAA program, this alliance will help you stand out as a finance professional in the field. You get to join a dynamic and forward-thinking network dedicated to building a premier financial hub within UAE and the wider terrain. In fact, it is an excellent opportunity to be part of such a robust collaboration. Your ability to contribute your experience and expertise to grow in this profession is critical to its success.

Admission Prerequisites
ACCA Entry Requirements
Anyone is qualified for this certification course; however, they will start at a different level depending on the prior level of qualifications:
Non-graduates must pass two A Levels and three GCSEs in five different subjects (it should include Maths and English) to begin the professional qualification at the F1-F2-F3 level.
Graduates with a relevant degree may be qualified for exemptions at the F1-F9 stage of the professional qualification. Exemptions can be reviewed on the ACCA “exemptions inquiry database” at www.accaglobal.com. There will be no exemptions for the technical certification levels P1-P7.
Students who do not meet any of the above-mentioned requirements must first complete “Foundations in Accountancy” (FIA) before enrolling in our technical ACCA course in Ajman.
Exam Progression Rules
Students may take up to four papers per examination period at the professional qualification stage, subject to ACCA progression guidelines.
Each year, there are two review cycles:
1 February – 31 July (with exam in June)
1 August – 30 January (with exams in December)
In accordance with the progression guidelines, papers must be attempted in the order of the modules (Knowledge F1-F3 / Skills F4-F9 / Essentials P1-P3 / Options P4-P7). That said, papers within the same module can be attempted in any order. When registering for papers from different modules (for example, papers from a previous module that have yet to be completed or retaken), students must register for both the papers from the previous module and any papers from the next module.
